At Ceylon2World Travel, we strive to provide a seamless and secure booking experience. This Payment Policy outlines the terms governing all financial transactions made through our website or directly with our travel consultants.
1. Online Card Payments
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express via our secure online payment gateway.
- All credit/debit card payments are processed in real-time. If a payment is declined, alternate payment instructions must be received at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled departure; otherwise, your booking may be subject to cancellation.
- Confirmation of all services (hotels, transport, tours) is subject to availability. In the event a selected service is unavailable after payment, Ceylon2World Travel reserves the right to offer similar or higher-category alternatives.
2. Booking Confirmation
- Your booking is only considered “Confirmed” once you have received a Confirmation Invoice or Voucher via email from Ceylon2World Travel.
- Please do not make non-refundable travel arrangements (such as international flights) until you receive this final confirmation.
- If you do not receive a confirmation email within 2 working days, please check your “Spam” folder or contact our customer care hotline immediately.
3. Payment Schedule
- Full Payment: Unless otherwise specified in writing by your travel consultant, full payment for all services is required upon confirmation of the arrangement.
- Exceptions: For certain tailor-made tours or high-value bookings, a deposit may be accepted to secure the booking, with the balance due by a specified date prior to arrival.
4. Currency and Exchange Rates
- Prices are typically quoted in Pound Sterling (GBP).
- If paying in a currency other than the quoted one, the exchange rate applied will be the prevailing bank rate at the exact time of the transaction. Ceylon2World Travel is not responsible for any fluctuations in exchange rates or additional bank fees charged by your card issuer.
5. Amendment and Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
- Cancellations are subject to administrative fees, bank charges, and the specific cancellation policies of third-party suppliers (hotels, airlines, etc.).
- Standard Deadline: Generally, cancellations made within 14 to 30 days of the tour commencement (depending on the season and package) may incur a 100% cancellation fee. Specific terms will be provided at the time of your booking.
6. Refunds
- Refunds for payments made via credit/debit cards will be processed back to the original card used for the transaction.
- Refund processing times may vary depending on bank procedures, but typically take 7-14 business days.
- Any bank processing fees or currency conversion losses incurred during the refund process are the responsibility of the client.
7. Changes to Pricing
Ceylon2World Travel reserves the right to adjust prices after confirmation in the event of:
- Changes in government taxes or levies.
- Significant increases in fuel costs or domestic airfares.
- Errors in pricing displayed on the website.
